My buddy Ramon sent me his signature Fernandes guitar to demo. Figured I’d give this one a little Puerto Rican flavor. 🙂 Get more info on this awesome guitar …

  1. Damn this is definitely one of my favorite pieces from you Keith

  2. all I know is FearFactory if not started…definitely excelled at muted power chords syncopated w/fast drum beats. Most bands today overuse this formula.

  3. Absolutely on point writing Keith!!!

  4. Fuck yes Ramon is the man. I love Puya.

  5. absolutely the bestest song you ever gave to humanity (i hope it is yours) thank you 🙂

  6. Great playing!! Love those Fernandes guitars too… I used to have a Fernandes 'Vertigo' in surf green. I really miss that guitar, and I am certain the theif that stole it from me enjoyed as well.

  7. I love latin flavored metal. m/

  8. finally some metal i can really dance to M/ -_- M/

  9. The opening riff of this is really catchy!

    The dude shreds, man.

  13. wooow nice work guys different but wery cool likes it a lot;)

  14. Mexican Rob Flynn…?

  15. sicktwisted, just in case, I didn't want to sound disrespectful or ignorant in any way. I just wanted to explain why it should be Puertoricandjent instead of Mexicandjent. There's a lot of music genres that has syncopation, but from the music-theory perspective, is a fact that Caribbean music (Cuban, Puerto Rican, etc.) exceeds in the usage of syncopation (not in odd or multiple meter changes, though), in comparison of other styles because of our heritage of african music. And yes, even though I don't listen to any of those bands (really, I don't), I know Dino Cazares background. And of course, Mars Volta's Omar Rodriguez-Lopez background as well. Who is Puerto Rican himself.

  16. Brujeria, or any band from Dino Cazares, or the Mars Volta , deftones… So on and on

  17. Jerry Baez, obviously you don't do much of a background check to the bands you prolly listen to… Like

  18. Puertoricandjent, dude. This has the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Caribbean flavor and syncopation all over it. As far as I understand, that's something that Mexican music doesn't have that much.

  19. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhh Ayarrrrrrriba !!!

  20. its puertorriquen djent! -_-

  21. How much is i for one of those?

  22. That's a really unique piece !!

  23. Metal + OLEH OLEH = MOLEH MOLEH.

  24. Love those inlays! Original and beautiful.

  25. Actually, Puertoricandjent. Ramon is from Puerto Rico 🙂

  26. neither of these dudes are mexican. lol

  27. Thank you. I find it offensive every time somebody mistakes Latinos for Mexicans. Mexicans arent the only Latinos in the world.

  28. Puerto Rican Djent. Ramon Ortiz is Puerto Rican not Mexican.

  29. HELL YEAH!!!…Ramon Ortiz!…one of Puerto Rico's finest!!!…
